Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Merry Belated Christmas!

Lol, sorry for falling off the face of the planet for a few days! We went up to my grandparent's house for a couple of nights and they don't have internet there. They don't even have very good cellphone service, as a friend of mine and I found out very quickly....

Christmas went rather well! I got off of work a few hours early, which was greatly appreciated. I need to remember that I owe Zach one... If we'd waited til 7 at night to leave, not only would we have missed dinner, but we would've gotten caught right in the middle of a horrid snowstorm and maybe not have even made it there!

But, we did. :3

Gramma made a turkey and potatoes and Mmmm~ Everything was good~! We opened some presents and got some chocolate and Christmas money~ Here, at home, I got some neat stuff:

+Three pairs of Pajama pants (I needed these)
+5 or 6 Pajama tops (I also needed these)
+A black scarf
+An external Hard drive for my laptop
+A new Wacom Bamboo Tablet that came with Photoshop Elements (I can draw now~!

)

The next day, we went to my dad's parent's house and all his brothers and sister came to visit with their kids and whatnot. That was fun, too~

In all, it was a much-needed vacation. I didn't sleep well, since the house was kept rather warm, but I can catch up now, since I'm back home.

And, it's back to work tomorrow. ^^
